This week in the Holoverse | Week ending 24th of October 2021

After last weeks epic development and roadmap updates, this has been a week of working towards the next big Holo hosting milestones.

The milestone that we’re all so excited about is the public release of Elemental Chat. This release will utilise the new HoloPort network that came online as part of the HoloPort Alpha Program. It will also be when the general public will be able to see and use the Holo hosting themselves. Things will get really interesting then. Imagine a lot of new people going “you’ve built, what?” all at once.

The new Holochain releases keep coming quick and fast. Holochain v0.0.111 and v0.0.112 both dropped this week.

As exciting as the Elemental Chat public release will be, we’ll most likely be falling off a chair when get to use the pre-release version of HoloFuel. Development of both HoloFuel and the Holo hosting Publisher Portal is now also in full swing.

The next batch of HoloPorts are being assembled

The HoloPort Alpha program may have just increased the size of the Holo hosting network, but it’s about to get a whole lot bigger. An email has been sent to those who have preordered HoloPorts saying that they are currently being assembled.

Because of supply issues in global supply chains, this will most likely be the last shipment before Holo hosting Beta. If you’d like to get on the waiting list to be able to purchase in the next round you can add your email to the waiting list here.

Updates from IOEN – The Internet of Energy Network

As we’ve reported over the past few weeks, there has been a heap going on at the Holochain powered IOEN.

The IOEN ERC-20 token is now available, partner announcements galore and so many videos it’s hard to keep up.

Thankfully the IOEN team wrote up a summary article of all this action so you can fully take in the enormity of what they’ve been up to recently.

Binance adds HOT to their Convert & OTC Portal

Binance just made it easier to buy the HOT ERC-20 token.

HOT was amongst 19 tokens that were added to the Binance Convert and OTC Portal. The Convert portal is noted as the easiest way to trade on the Binance platform. As well as making it easier to purchase HOT it will greatly expand the exposure of the token which will be exchangeable for HoloFuel once Holo hosting enters the Beta phase.
